Sunday School at Calvary:

**In January, Sunday School will be on January 11th and 18th. 

Sunday School at Calvary will be held the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, beginning on September 7th. The children will start in the church proper and following the Children’s Sermon will be dismissed to join Ashley Donovan in Fellowship Hall.

Your Holy Baptism!

On June 22nd, we welcomed Lucas Alan Grall into the family of God through Holy Baptism.
He is the son of Andrew Grall and Abby Gatton. Sponsors for Lucas are Kyle Gatton and Nikki Van Vonderen. Proud grandparents are members Tim and Linda Grall and of course Uncle Austin Grall. Lucas's other proud grandparents are Carol and Mike Marchiandro and Rodney Gatton and Kate Clay.

Congratulations Zack on Your Baptism and
​First Communion!

 On May 18th, we welcomed Zackary Aiden Green to the communion rail as he received his First Communion. Zackary also received new birth through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on the same morning during a private service. Zack is the younger brother of member, Jordan Green. Welcome, Zack!

"Twas the Night Before Christmas" play was a Delight!

Under the direction of Peggy Benes and her helpers, the children’s Christmas program "Twas the Night Before Christmas" play was enjoyed by all. There were readers, a mouse, sugar plum fairies, angels, shepherds, sleeping children, an Innkeeper and Mary and Joseph. The children had many roles. Calvary will be starting a Youth Group for kids 13 and older!  Our next gathering will be on Friday, January 9th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Friendship Circle - Bible Study (WELCA) has changed the time of their study. It will still be held the third Tuesday of each month through the month of May but starting time will be 2:30 PM. This year we will be using the book, 
Bless These Lips by Sharla Fritz.

Bless These Lips, an eight-week Bible study centered on Scripture, examines things people say that get in the way of relationships with God and with others. Each chapter draws on lip product analogies and uses humor, anecdotes, and observation to introduce Scripture passages that address common behaviors and attitudes. Each day's reading includes Bible study questions and suggestions for personal reflection.

The study will be led by Pastor Jennifer. Please come join us on the third Tuesday of the month at 2:00 PM.  Hope you can join us!

Congratulations to our Confirmation students, Karlee Marie Conant, Olivia Leeanne Ferg, and Brody Lee Zeise on Affirming you Baptism!  They have been instructed in the Word of God and the faith of the Christian church and affirmed their baptismal covenant by public confession of faith in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and are prepared to assume greater responsibility in the life of the Christian community and for the mission of the church. We welcome Karlee, Olivia, and Brody into full membership.
