Sunday Worship Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. from May through August. Our worship services are led by Pastor Jennifer Sosinski. Holy Communion is offered on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of the month. Please refer to our monthly calendar to check for special services/changes in communion dates.

May 18th - Special Congregational Meeting Following Service -
The Calvary Lutheran Church Council is requesting a special meeting of the congregation to be held on Sunday, May 18th, following the worship service.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the potential hiring of a part-time Media Technician to support the growing needs of our church. As our congregation continues to grow, so do the opportunities and needs for expanded support in worship, outreach, and communication.
We encourage all members to attend and be part of this important conversation about the future of Calvary Lutheran Church.

We are Calvary Lutheran Church and Part of the Kindred Lutheran Parish

Here at Calvary, we are so fortunate to have Pastor Jennifer Sosinski leading our worship services. Safety protocols are followed within our church. We tape and live stream our worship services and these services can be viewed (via Facebook).

We have a great Christian Education program for our youth which is called Calvary's Kids. This program is for Kindergarten through 6th grade and they meet from Mid-September through April. This year our classes will be held the 2nd Sunday of the month at approximately 10:15(students will be excused in church). We are also looking at having a monthly craft project held at our monthly community meal which is held the second Wednesday of the month from September through May from 4:30 - 6:00. Please refer to our monthly calendar to check when classes are scheduled. All children are welcome!
In the summer we have a week of Vacation Bible School for grades 4K-5th which we hold in conjunction with the Antigo United Methodist Church.
We have Confirmation classes on Wednesday evenings for seventh and eighth graders from Mid-September through May from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. Please refer to our monthly calendar to check when classes are scheduled.
Friendship Circle is also a great way to meet the women of Calvary, and they meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. They enjoy a short Bible Study and fellowship time together. This year Pastor Jennifer will be leading the Bible Study and this year we will be using the book, Bless These Lips by Sharla Fritz. We hope everyone can join us!

D Through a Special Congregational Meeting and a unanimous consenting vote at both St. John’s Lutheran Church Birnamwood and Calvary Lutheran Church Antigo (a 2-point parish known as The Kindred Lutheran Parish), Vicar Jennifer Sosinski was called to serve as Pastor for the Kindred Lutheran Parish. We are delighted and excited that we continue under her leadership, guidance, and pastoral care as we face the future together. We are truly blessed to have made this journey from vicar to pastor with her and look forward to what the future holds for all of us in the Kindred Lutheran Parish.
Our Beautiful Iron Cross
Long-time member, Richard Tews commissioned a blacksmith to make this beautiful iron cross for Calvary. The three twists in the iron represent our Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Richard also donates and cares for the beautiful flowers at Calvary. Thanks for all you do Richard!
